The person behind QreativeThemes
I’m Barry de Jong, founder of QreativeThemes. From the Netherlands, I design and build WordPress themes for small businesses.
I started out making websites for fun, then began building small business websites for friends and family. At the time, I was working in the trades, but I enjoyed web design enough to leave and study interaction design.
Fast-forward to the end of 2015, after plenty of trial and error, I released my first premium WordPress theme on ThemeForest. It sold well from day one, so I decided to do it full time.
My time in the trades still shapes how I work. When you’re running a business, you need a website that’s easy to set up, understand, and use.
WordPress themes built around your business
Each theme is designed for a specific kind of business. That determines the design, pages, layouts, and features I include.
For example, a dental clinic needs to explain its treatments and introduce its dentists. A construction company needs a good way to show its projects. I consider those differences from the start.
After installing the theme you can import the demo pages, replace the text and images with your own, and adjust the pages to suit your business.

QreativeThemes is the name I work under, but it’s a one-person business. I design and develop every theme, and I personally answer every support ticket. If something isn’t working or you’re unsure how to set up part of your site, I’ll help you sort it out.
